Meet the Principal

Welcome to Falcon Bluffs Middle School!

I am honored and excited to serve as the next Principal of Falcon Bluffs Middle School. Over the past several months, I have had the opportunity to spend time listening, learning, and connecting with students, staff, and families, and one thing has become abundantly clear: Falcon Bluffs is a truly special place. The pride, dedication, and commitment to students that exist within this community are remarkable, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be joining the Falcon family.

My educational journey began in Aurora Public Schools, where I started my teaching career. I later joined Jeffco Public Schools as a teacher and have spent my administrative career serving students, staff, and families in both K-6 and K-8 settings. These experiences have shaped my belief that great schools are built on strong relationships, clear systems, high expectations, and a shared commitment to doing what is best for students.

Outside of school, I am fortunate to have a wonderful support system. My husband and I are raising two children who attend Jeffco schools, so I understand firsthand the trust families place in schools every day. Being both an educator and a parent continually reminds me of the importance of creating environments where students feel safe, connected, challenged, and supported.

As a leader, I believe relationships come first. I believe students thrive when they feel known and valued, staff perform at their highest levels when they feel supported and empowered, and schools are strongest when families and communities are active partners in the work. I also believe in listening before leading. While data, systems, and structures are important, the true heart of any school is found in its people.

One of the things that has excited me most throughout this transition has been learning about the strong sense of community that exists at Falcon Bluffs. Time and time again, I have heard staff, students, and families describe Falcon Bluffs as a place that feels like family. That culture of connection is something I deeply value and look forward to strengthening alongside all of you.

As we move forward together, my commitment is to build upon the many incredible things already happening at Falcon Bluffs while continuing to grow in ways that support every student. I believe in fostering a culture of belonging, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. By working together, honoring the expertise within our community, and keeping students at the center of our decisions, we can ensure every Falcon is prepared for success both inside and outside the classroom.

Thank you for welcoming me into the Falcon Bluffs community. I am excited for the journey ahead and look forward to partnering with students, staff, families, and the broader community as we continue to make Falcon Bluffs an exceptional place to learn and grow.
