Chrome Book Initiative

Chromebook Initiative

Falcon Bluffs Mid
dle School is excited to join the Chatfield Articulation Chromebook Initiative. All of our schools including Mortensen, Shaffer, Coronado, Ute Meadows, Stony Creek, Bradford, Deer Creek, Falcon Bluffs, and Chatfield are committed to preparing students to be college and career ready. We strive to develop skills such as communication, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking to ensure students are prepared for college and career opportunities. In support of this effort, we are launching an initiative to have each student purchase a device beginning with our 6th graders in the 2018 - 2019 school year.

All students in 6th grade will be required to purchase a Chromebook from the school to use for educational purposes. Having ongoing access to technology will allow our students to consistently practice and apply those 21st-century s
kills, and prepare them for a variety of post-secondary options.
